Meet the competitors, creators, and innovators who push Circle City designs beyond what we imagined.

Bradd Collins
Hello all, Bradd here. As a joke, I started playing with a yoyo with a few guys at a tattoo parlor I worked in around 2005. It started as fun, but once I picked it up, it made a lot of sense. Later that year they introduced me to Kyle Pearson and Takeshi, whom I knew loosely from skateboarding. We hung out for the next couple of years, until I moved to NYC. I eventually returned back to Indy to go to school and met Alex Morton of Freshly Dirty. We became good friends and he showed me all he knew about yoyoing. How to play, what it was like to make one and how things just were. So eventually in September of 2018, I birthed Circle City Yoyos. The name comes from the city. It's where I was born and where a lot of yoyo history or magic has happened. A few short years later, here we are. A few yoyos made, a lot of friends along the way, and even some pretty cool team members who have their own stories. So, welcome to our dream of Circle City Yoyos.

I’m Tj, I started out casually playing with yoyos buck when I was in 6th grade and loved it. Over the years I would pick one up every so often, but it wasn’t until my two boys had a visitor at their elementary school that did a yoyo demonstration that I decided to teach myself everything I could about the design aspect and the science behind yoyos. Luckily for me, Bradd and Circle City Yoyos gave me the opportunity to design the Phoenix. Now here we are going on this crazy journey with a crazy but awesome new family!!

Hey, I’m Sam Schowengerdt! I’ve been yoyoing since I was about 11 years old. I was introduced to yoyoing by a friend, who recommended a YoyoJam Classic. I bought one and loved the creativity and accomplishment that could come from it. I mostly love big tricks and stitching tricks together to get the ultimate flow state. I started competing in 2018. In 2019, I was given the opportunity to join the Circle City Team. I have recently rejoined the team after stepping away from yoyoing for awhile to focus on life, and I’m honored to be apart of such an amazing company with goals of quality, uniqueness, and creating more than just a team.

I’m Cody! My yo-yo journey began in 2013 while I was deployed to Turkey. What started as a way to pass the time quickly became a passion and eventually led me to start Lifeline Strings, building a business around the hobby I loved. In 2020, I was fortunate enough to join the Circle City Yoyos team. What began with a yo-yo during deployment has grown into more than a decade of friendships, creativity, competition, and being part of an incredible community.

Hi, my names Kyle, they used to call me FIZX. A proud father of 6, I have been yo yoing since the age of 6 but it wasn’t until I met Takeshi Kamisto in 2001 that I really started to learn and grow as a player. These days I spend most of my time with family, writing, and of course yo yoing. Fun Fact: Bradd and I have been friends since we were teenagers!
